Already too hot

Wait — it's still May, right? We've had highs of 28°C. In May. As a child I remember sitting at breakfast with my mum, watching the forecast: "Whoa, 30 today — way too hot." If it's 28 in May, what does August have in store? I'm honestly not sure I'll make it through. Summer is terrifying. But — a cool room and warm oil? That combination is bliss. Honestly, I enjoy the closeness from this side just as much.
