Booking Tips
- Send 24–48 hours in advance. Most salons need at least one day's notice, especially for weekends and evenings. Booking further ahead gives you more choice of therapist.
- No reply after 24 hours? Send one polite follow-up on LINE. If still no response, try calling — tap the phone icon inside the LINE chat. Many salons are easier to reach by phone during business hours (12pm–8pm).
- Try another salon. With hundreds of salons listed, there is no shortage of options. Use the salon search to find alternatives in the same area.
- Bring cash (yen). Most salons are cash only. Convenience stores like 7-Eleven and Lawson have international ATMs. Confirm payment method when booking.
- First-visit discounts (初回割引) are common. Ask when booking — some salons offer 20–30% off your first session.
If You Need to Call
If LINE goes unanswered, call the salon. You can say this phrase to confirm your reservation:
予約確認させてください
Yoyaku kakunin sasete kudasai
"Please let me confirm my reservation."
Alternatively, open the LINE conversation and tap the phone icon. You can hold your phone up to the mic and play the phrase — many salon staff understand the context immediately.
